Bio Sketch
Alexis Chargo is a licensed and board-certified Occupational therapist, and is a current PhD Candidate in the Behavioral Cognitive Neuroscience program here at Wayne State University. Her research is focused on characterizing complex associations between cognitive and mobility function in older adults. Specifically, she is interested in using spatial navigation as a means to understand unique patterns of age-related decline in cognitive and mobility function, as it is an essential everyday behavior that is vulnerable to decline in aging and related neurodegenerative disease.
